Lily Marie

Canon 7D, Raw, f/8.0, 1/60, 17mm, ISO 2500

She is now six days old in the photo. I used a very high ISO because I didn’t want to use the flash. Inside her little bed in the living room there wasn’t a lot of light. You can see the reflection of the window on her eyes. She is getting very alert and her eyes are attracted to the light. I didn’t remove any noise but I think it looks good. This camera is great! It is doing exactly what I wanted it to do. Next week we are going to take a four generation photo. All I did to this photo was a levels adjustment and a slight temperature adjustment.

Lily looks marvelous; seeing her wonderful expression of awareness it’s hard to believe she’s only six days old. You’ve certainly captured a perfect moment!

I took 12 photos to get that one! Thank you. (By the way, you were right, it is a potato chip!)

Thanks Bridget – the potato chip confirmation made me laugh!
